The first miles
From an account to a community
Running is better when you do not have to do it alone.
Running With Lucho was not created as a club. It grew from sharing the real work, inviting people in and continuing to show up for one another.
Your goal matters. So does the goal of the runner beside you.
The invitation
What if I invited people to run with me?
That question became Running With Lucho. The Instagram account began as a place to share workouts, experiences and everything I was learning as a runner. The first yes
Followers became training partners.
People began asking if they could run with us. The answer was always yes. Omar joined during the early months. Messages became shared miles, friendships and the beginning of a real community. When races stopped
The community kept showing up.
During the pandemic, running became a lifeline. Races disappeared, but the work and the support continued. We learned that consistency becomes easier when people genuinely want to see one another improve.Purpose and structure
We became a workout community.
Vanessa and I began training with Luis Orta. Together with My Olympic Coach, the community gained deeper structure, clear workout groups and professional coaching support without losing the human foundation that brought us together.Beyond our finish line
Support continues after our race.
Someone helped us through difficult workouts, carried water, rode beside us or shared a few miles. When our race ends, someone else is still preparing. Later, we become that person for another runner.Today
